We'd like to introduce Ziepod version 0.91. In this release, we removed most of the bugs and also added couple of new features.
Here are the highlights of this release.
Search podcasts via Feedzie.com
Starting with v0.91, you can search podcasts from inside Ziepod via Feedzie.com. Feedzie.com currently hosts over 12,000 audio feeds and thanks to Ziepod you will be able to search inside that collection without needing to touch your browser.
Search episodes in specific languages
New Ziepod allows you to search episodes in specific languages, such as in English only. Currently provided language options include Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish.
Gecko render support for embedded browsing
If you are not happy with Internet Explorer rendering(default) and prefer to use Gecko rendering (used by Firefox), new release includes a switch to switch between two rendering.
New default download directory for better access
Starting with v0.91, Ziepod keeps downloaded episodes under specific folders associated with each subscribed podcast. All those folders are located under 'My Ziepod Downloads' folder which is placed under 'My Documents' folder of active windows user. This enables you to easily access those downloaded episodes.
Podcast export into OPML
Now you can export your subscribed podcasts into OPML file and backup for future use. Generated OPML file also preserves folder hierarchy you have inside Ziepod.
Also, most of the bugs have been removed
Bugs are things that keep us on edge. Fortunately we detected and removed most of the annoying bugs, including couple of lethal ones inside the database manager modules. For detailed bug reporting, please check release notes.
